Policy Signal is an independent intelligence service tracking global privacy and AI governance developments. This notice explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — if you subscribe to the daily newsletter. This is the only personal information we collect.
• Usage data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained briefly for operational purposes.

We do not collect names, payment information, or any other personal data. The dashboard is publicly accessible without providing any information.

How we use your email address

Your email address is used solely to send the Policy Signal daily briefing newsletter. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. We do not sell or rent email addresses to third parties.

Service providers

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Policy Signal — including hosting, database, and email delivery providers. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the service and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We review these relationships periodically and will update this notice if our providers change materially.

Data retention

We retain your email address for as long as your newsletter subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your address is deactivated and will not be used for future sends. You may request permanent deletion at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Policy Signal does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Standard analytics may be collected by our hosting infrastructure for operational purposes.
